A Niche Market, Within a Niche Market
If you’re at all familiar with the card game Magic the Gathering, You may know the cards can run surprisingly expensive. It’s an intense hobby, filled with so much love for the game. When players put time and money into their decks, sometimes they want it to reflect themselves a little bit better. So they seek out Artists to create alternate art for their cards.
A very beautiful market I had the pleasure of getting into throughout the Covid19 shutdowns, that advanced my art in ways I never expected. It’s challenging working with miniature paintings, but it has pushed the way I think about art to new levels in such a short amount of time, that I don’t feel ready to give up the craft any time soon.
